Whether you're a family or a group of friends, Xyloporta is the perfect place to get together and relax in luxury.
A collection of ancient olive-pickers' cottages, Xyloporta is more a hamlet than a villa. Each cottage has been converted and modernized to a high standard while retaining its unique character, combining the raw beauty of Greece with the luxury of a five star private residence or boutique hotel.
The cottages sit around a tranquil courtyard on a secluded five acre estate surrounded by olive groves, gracefully situated on a hill overlooking the Ionian Sea. The interiors are sympathetic to the heritage of the site, decorated in clean and classic whites and blues; with basins handcarved from the local limestone, the bathrooms are all furnished with good quality fittings, towels, bathrobes and toiletries.

“Ideal for groups who want the best of both worlds – peaceful independent spaces with a great communal hub for those slightly less behaved nights.”
Flora Budenberg and Poppy Cotterell will lead this week of yoga and nutritional therapy. In addition to providing you with delicious, health-giving food during the week, Flora will be offering workshops for those interested in learning a new method of cooking and eating. If being in the kitchen is not for you, there will be the opportunity to enjoy guided walks around the North of the island with Jo Birch. There is also, of course, the option to do absolutely nothing - other than enjoy the peace of Xyloporta and its surroundings. On Sunday evening, Poppy and Flora will assess what you are hoping to gain from the week. Poppy will aim to get an understanding of where you are in your practice - whether a complete novice or a regular practitioner - and will be able to guide you towards any further objectives. Flora will assess any health concerns you may have and any goals you may be hoping to achieve - whether weight loss or just a general overhaul of your lifestyle and diet. The week is designed so that each person will be able to take home with them a new, healthier, modus vivendi, both for mind and body, which they will have been given the practical tools to sustain should they wish to do so. The schedule for the week will involved twice daily yoga sessions, morning and mid-afternoon, daily walking tours and cooking workshops for those interested. Tours to a local organic wineyard, the Blue Caves and Shipwreck Cove can be included. Dimitris, an excellent local masseur and beauty therapist, will be available for massage therapy and a variety of treatments.
